So, this post was meant to go out yesterday and when I found out it did not (the classic am/pm mix-up), there were two choices... The first was to say goodbye to the weekend round-up and post Monday's post today. The second was to post Sunday's post Monday and Monday's post tomorrow. Obviously, the second sounded better and you can expect the complete Barry's Bootcamp overview tomorrow instead of today.
Watching YouTube and reading blogs, it is amazing how fast illness travels. People in the UK and Japan have had the same cold/flu that the hubs and I have had in Florida. Thankfully, we are both able to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Most of this week was a mix of sleeping instead of working out and yoga. Even though there was lots of stretching flows throughout the week, it was not until Thursday that I actually got any real yoga time in. Then was Barry's Bootcamp on Saturday which I am all too happy to say we survived, sick and all!
The picture above are my cousins Jessica (on the left) and Alicia (on the right) before and after our boot camp. Even though I want to leave most of the Barry's talk for tomorrow, I will say that it is a fantastic workout that left me sore from the minute I left the class until now.
Sunday: Aerial Yoga at a new studio that I absolutely loved and am thinking of getting my Yoga cert at!
Monday: Rest day/ soft yoga flow
Tuesday: Rest Day
Wednesday: Rest
Thursday: 10-minute Bridge Workout followed by this beginner Ali K workout that was great when you are sick.
Friday: This oldie but goodie ab workout that I still do and love.
Saturday: Barry's Bootcamp followed by some serious dancing the night away at my cousin's wedding. Really, I am not sure which made me more sore.
This week I am hoping to get in a lot more kettlebell workouts and at least one more round of aerial yoga. This kettlebell workout is one that looks pretty great!
