Workout Round-up: This Week in Yoga-tastic Workouts

Whoohooo, bonus post! I considered releasing this post tomorrow, but there are just too many fun things we will be talking about next week, it only seemed fair to do a bonus Sunday post :) If you are wondering, this pic is from the Yoga for Detox flow we did a while back. Short hair and no unnatural colors... So much has changed ;)

This week I have made a decision to put a lot more focus on yoga. This includes at least one yoga class/flow/vinyasa per day, hopefully two. The decision came around over the past few weeks when I realized how little yoga I was doing for how much I loved it. So far, the yoga-centric week has been fantastic!

{Monday} Ali Kamenova's 20-minute Vinyasa Hatha which I am completely obsessed with right now- followed by a 10-minute ballet bum sequence that will be posted very soon!!

{Tuesday} A nice 2-mile run followed by the same 20-minute Vinyasa Hatha from Monday, then the trusty 10-minute ballet bum sequence.

{Wednesday} 2.5-mile run followed by the 10-minute ballet bum sequence- Lifting my bum 10-minutes at a time! That night I enjoyed a nice Twist and Detox Yoga flow.

{Thursday} 1-mile warm-up run followed by the Shape Magazine arm workout that I was going to review but completely forgot to turn on my heart rate monitor for. No idea how many calories were burnt  during this workout, but I sure did enjoy it!

Pretty sure I followed this up with a short yoga flow, but Thursday is a bit of a blur and I forgot to jot it down. Ever have those days where you cannot remember what you did but you know you were running around like a chicken without a head? Yea, that was my Thursday.

{Friday} Hot Yoga!!!! This was all that I did on Friday and I LOVED it. It has been a while since my last hot yoga class and I feel like someone should smack me for missing out for so long. Hot Yoga will officially be joining my weekly workout regimen.

{Saturday} Splendid rest day which I wish I had done some yoga on. Live and learn.

{Sunday} Can you guess? Yoga! Ali K's Hip Opener Yoga Sequence with a warm-up of the 10-minute ballet bum workout.
