Workout Pants to Love

by Jenni in

Looking sweaty at the gym is part of the game for looking good otherwise. As much as I know this is true, nothing gets me to the gym quicker than new workout attire. I have recently gotten the Saucony Kinvara 3 running shoes and counted the days until they would be delivered and ready to try. This same excitement goes for any other workout paraphernalia- shirts, pants, sports bras, even workout socks can be an exciting thing to try out, and a great way to re-inspire a dry workout routine. These workout pants are a few that I have either purchased and l-o-v-e, or something that I am dying to buy!

VS Cropped Leggings

I am super in love with these cropped leggings that come in a ton of different colors and patterns. You may have seen their full-legged big brother in a few of my workout how-to's; these look just as awesome but with about 10 more colors to choose from! Yea, they are on the must-buy list!

Gap Terry Crop Pants

These pants look like the type I could live in. Terry cloth is one of the best things ever created and the crop plus drawstring make them a must! These are also great if you are not into spandex quite as much as Apolo Ono or Superman. My only concern with purchasing this wonderful pant is that I will not take them of. But really, is that so bad?

Athleta Home Run Short

It is still summer here in Florida and shorts weather will not be gone until January-ish. So, these shorts from Athleta make perfect sense to buy. Oh how I do love these. They are the right length, being long without too long and short without being too short. These types of shorts also look good on almost any body type and the color options are great for almost any skin tone- including those out there with legs as reflective white as mine! The Home Run Shorts are on sale right now as well. This just might be the time to get a pair in each color ;)

Gifts for the Yoga Enthusiast

by Jenni in

Being the yoga enthusiast that I am, there are a few yoga related items on my holiday list that your yoga lover may drool over as well. Here are my top three holiday picks for the yogi's out there!

Good leggings are hard to find, and good leggings that don't cost one of your pretty legs is even harder to come by. That is why I am in love with these leggings and the price. The color is bold and fun but still pretty easy to match, and they are thick enough to not show skin... Oh the joy of being able to do a down-dog without fear of what the person behind me is seeing! These leggins also have great thermal qualities and will help you stay cool in the summer but warm in the winter. Gotta love transitional workout attire.

Let's face it, yoga is not all cupcakes and unicorns; you sweat. And no one likes to be the slip and slide floor show in a yoga class. Yoga rugs, towels, and the like will absorb all that hard work and keep us where we should be... No awkward falls here!

I know quite a few people who have this yoga rug and love it. It does not move around on the mat, hands and feet grip to it well, and it will retain the shape through out washing. Best part, the price. At about $25 it is a gift almost anyone can afford and, pretty much, any yogi will love.

Clothes are so wonderful and I love this uber soft, inexpensive yoga top. The shirt is not too slouchy or heavy that it will simply fall off, but it is not one of the crazy tight ones that ride up either. Ugh, I think clothing that rides up is the absolute worst thing during a yoga class! That's why every color option of this shirt will be on my Christmas list this year! Yay for new uber cute and cozy yoga tops and yay for some price conscience workout attire! The shirts range in price from $25- $47 depending on color.
